iOS 15: Use The Information Stored In Your Notes App

By iPad Pete 4 Comments

Do you know that your Notes is a smart and proactive app? It is able to recognize information formats and allows you to take action, directly linking you to the corresponding app.

You will see this when a yellow underline appears on the information you have on the Notes.

It recognizes addresses and opens them in the Maps, email addresses links to your Mail app, and phone numbers connects you to various app so you directly reach out to your contact.

Here are a few samples.

1. Address

When you tap on it, it opens up your Maps and shows you the address location

2. Email Address

When you click on it, it will open up your email and compose a new message

3. Phone Numbers

When you tap on it, it will give you options on how you want to call the number such as a direct call, FaceTime call, and other apps you use for communication. You can also select Send Message to send a text message.

This simply makes it easy to make use of the data you have saved on your Notes app. You don’t need to copy and paste the details to use them in the other apps.

Such a helpful feature!

Yes, you can. Go to your notes main page and pull the page down. You’ll see a search bar. If you enter a word you’ll see all your notes containing that word
