Take a Full Webpage Screenshot on iPhone

By iPad Pete 2 Comments

It is easy to take a screenshot of anything on your iPhone. But do you know that there is a way to save a copy of an entire webpage on your iPhone?

Some people refer to this as taking a scrolling screenshot. This is because you need to take screenshots of a very long webpage. This is easier if you are using your computer. The reason is that most web pages could fit on your screen. But when it comes to your iPhone, you have to scroll down to see a whole webpage. So it is quite challenging to take a screenshot of the whole thing, right?

But there is a way to do it.

First off, people used to rely on third-party apps to take scrolling screenshots on their iPhones. But as you know, Apple is quite notorious when it comes to securing your privacy and information when it comes to their devices and your iPhone is no different. Take note that this feature was introduced to iPhone units running on iOS 13 and later.

Here is a step-by-step process on how you can take a rolling screenshot of a webpage with your iPhone.

Step 1 – Find a locate your browser of choice. This feature used to be available only for Safari but it now works with Chrome as well.

Step 2 – Look up your favorite website like https://post.youcanlearnthis.com.

Step 3 – Next step is to take a screenshot of your iPhone and tap on the small image on the lower left.

Step 4 – Tap on the “Full Page” option

Step 5 – You will see on the right side all the screenshots of the full webpage.

Step 6 – If you look at the bottom, you have a lot of options for editing or marking up the pages.

Step 7 – Once you are done, simply tap “Done”

Step 8 – Choose “Save PDF to Files” to save your rolling screenshot of the web page.

Step 9 – YOu have the option of saving in on your iCloud or on your Device. Once done, simply click “Save” and that is it

It is now easier than ever to take a rolling screenshot of an entire webpage using only your iPhone.

Mine does not have the Screen or Full Page options—is that only on newer phones? Mine is an XR from a couple of years ago.
