Send an Animated Memoji Instead of Video Messages

By iPad Pete 1 Comment

You created your Memoji in our previous lesson and are now ready to share it with the world.

One of the ways you can do that is by sending an animated Memoji that is complete with your voice and facial expressions. How cool is that?

This is perfect for when you are not ready for anyone to see your face on video calls!

Here’s how you send an animated Memoji

Step 1. Open the Messages app.

Step 2. Open a current conversation or select the “New Message” icon in the top right corner.

Step 3. Tap the App Store icon to open the app tray (if it is not already available).

Step 4. Tap the Memoji button with the yellow frame the Memoji button

Step 5. Choose a Memoji to use.

Step 6. Tap the Record button to record your facial expressions and voice. When you are done tap the red square to end recording.

Step 7. Tap the Send button to send your message or the Delete button to cancel. If you want to review your message you can tap “Replay.”

Hello, I tried the Memoji above to record. I realize that it uses by voice. I am deaf and I want it to show hands to sign language when I record. Can u make it work?

    Thanks
