In iOS 14, finding the exact app that you’re looking for has never been easier.
Just use the “Search” bar at the top of the App Library window, type the first few characters of the Apps name and you’re ready to go.
When you tap “Search,” apps can also be displayed alphabetically – making them easy to scroll through and find in seconds!
Here’s how you can use the new “Search” functionality in the App Library…
1. Scroll right on your device until you enter the App Library. How many swipes you’ll need to make to get here will depend entirely on the total number of pages on your phone.

2. Tap once in the “Search” field at the top of the screen. This will bring up the virtual keyboard on your device.

3. Enter the first few characters of the name of the app you’re looking for. Soon, the icon for the app itself will appear on screen.

4. Tap the icon to go directly to the app itself. Close it the same way you always have when you’re done.

That’s it! In addition to launching apps faster than ever, the “Search” feature in the App Library can be a great way to make uninstalling applications a breeze. Just search for the app you want to get rid of (using the steps outlined above), tap and hold the icon as usual, and tap the “Delete” button!
