It was previously speculated that only a few of the iPhone Models released this fall would be 5G Enabled.
Now analysts believe that ALL new iPhone 12 Models will come 5G Enabled.
5G, or “5th Generation Wireless”, will provide much faster speeds than the current 4G technology.
The faster 5G technology provides lower latency, so data can be accessed with much less lag time.
These faster speeds and shorter lag times will allow new features to be built on top of the 5G technology.
In the past few years, iPhone Users have been waiting longer times between iPhone upgrades.
But, the 5G enabled iPhones could convince millions of users to upgrade to an iPhone 12.
This could be a welcomed financial boost for Apple during the current corona-virus-fueled economic downturn.
The new 5G-enabled iPhones will be considered a significant milestone in the evolution of the iPhone.
Cellular service providers like AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile all have 5G networks available. And they continue to expand out 5G networks in areas throughout the US.
As the networks expand, so too will the demand and adoption of newer 5G mobile phones.
Apple traditionally releases new iPhones in September. But Apple is expected to be a few weeks late this year due to pandemic-related supply chain difficulties.
So, the iPhone 12 is expected to be available in October.
We’ll see then if the rumors are true and if all iPhone 12 models have 5G capability.
Hi, at your suggestion I added a box on my main screen that is meant to get quick access to changes. I find it disconcerting to have to move it out of the way when using other apps. Could you please help me with removing this irritant? I tried pressing down, waiting for the wiggle to delete, but it doesn’t respond to the usual deletion strategy.
Thanks for your help with this.
