Are you concerned that your iPhone battery might not be as healthy as it used to be?

It is normal for batteries to wear down over time, but there are ways to check if your battery health is starting to degrade.

In this article, we will provide you with tips on how to see iPhone battery health and when it might be time for a replacement.

Is My Battery Health Degraded?

If you have a new iPhone, the battery should be fine. But if your iPhone is two years old or older, the battery will start to get weaker over time. This happens because of chemical aging and how many times it has been charged.

You can check your iPhone Battery Health by going to Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging. Here you will see your current battery’s capacity.

iPhone battery capacity is the amount of charge that the battery can hold when it’s fully charged.

When your iPhone battery drops below 80% of its original capacity, it’s time to think about getting a replacement battery.

You may also want to replace the battery if you see a warning that your battery is degraded or if your battery is no longer holding its charge.

How Do I Replace my iPhone Battery?

If you’re in the United States, replacements for your iPhone battery are covered under Apple’s one-year warranty or with AppleCare. But if it’s past one year, and you didn’t buy AppleCare, then be prepared to pay between $69 – $99 for battery replacement services.

If your battery needs a replacement, go to an Apple Store, or contact Apple Support for their authorized service providers.

You can contact Apple Support here.
