You may have taken advantage of Apple’s amazing Portrait Lighting feature, introduced in iOS 12, to dramatically improve the photos of your friends and family…
In iOS 13, Apple added some new & improved features to Portrait Lighting…
Including… High Key Light Mono mode, and the ability to use Portrait Lighting on Objects. Previously it only worked on faces, hence the name.
You also now have a slider to adjust the amount of Portrait Lighting effect you’re adding to your photos.
And, you can even adjust the amount of blurred background in your photo.
This is like being able to adjust the F-Stop on a traditional camera… AFTER the photo is already taken.
Portrait Lighting Mode requires an iPhone X or newer. But… If you have an older iPhone, the Improved Camera and Portrait Features are one of the best reasons to consider upgrading your iPhone. (In my humble opinion)
Here is Sean (Enforcerman) demonstrating the new Portrait features in iOS 13…
Great video.
I have the XMax. I am a realtor and I love to take photos. But the photos of homes are paid for by the company I work for. They’re beautiful, as are the videos. But, I always like new gadgets. My phone is perfect, should I upgrade?
Oh, I do write text, and do editing for my work and personal use. Maybe you could pass along a new idea for text editing. Make it simpler. Sometimes you write something, want to go back and edit it, but you cannot place your finger on either the iPad or iPhone easily enough. It will highlight most of your sentence, and it’s not that friendly to put your finger at the desired point without highlighting the majority of the text. Pop up appears to ‘cut, copy, paste etc. Then you have to put your finger outside of the box or it won’t let you Edit.
Just my pet peeve. Sorry so long. Didn’t know how to explain.
thank you for your time and info. I am ready to upgrade my 6S+ and waiting for the Iphone 12. I will be looking for advice .
