In today’s constantly connected world, it can be hard to find time to focus on a single task. That’s where Google Chrome’s Focus Mode comes in.
Focus Mode allows you to temporarily disable distractions so that you can stay focused on the task at hand. In this blog post, we’ll show you how to use Focus Mode and its benefits.
What is Focus Mode?
Focus Mode is a productivity tool that allows you to temporarily disable distractions while you work. When Focus Mode is enabled, all your open tabs will be filtered so that only the tabs related to your task remain visible. This way, you can stay focused on the task at hand without being distracted by other tabs.

To enable a Focus Filter:
1. Click the extension icon on the toolbar.
2. Select “Focus Mode.”
3. Click “Enable.”
4. Select the type of filter you want to enable from the drop-down menu.
5. Click “Done.”
You can also add custom sites to your filter lists by adding them to your blocked list. To do this:
1. Click the extension icon on the toolbar and select “Options.”
2a. If you want to block a website: Enter the URL of the website in the “Block” field and click “Add.”
2b. If you want to allow a website: Enter the URL of the website in the “Allow” field and click “Add.”
Apps That Work with Focus Mode
There are a number of apps that work with Focus Mode to help you be more productive:
Tab Atkins’ Alarms: This app allows you to set an alarm for when you need to take a break from work or stop working for the day . When the alarm goes off, all your tabs will be filtered so that only non-work-related sites are visible.
RescueTime: This app tracks how much time you spend on certain websites and apps. It then generates reports so that you can see where you’re spending most of your time online.
