How to Translate Webpages in Safari on iPhone

By iPad Pete 4 Comments

iPhone’s iOS 14 is now well-adapted to provide quick, seamless translations when you are using the Safari search engine. You can instantaneously translate a webpage to English, Spanish, simplified Chinese, French, German, Russian and Brazilian Portugese without a long wait time.

This new feature also allows you to toggle back and forth between the original and translated pages with ease. To view a Safari website in the language of your choice, simply locate the AA symbol located on the left side of the URL bar.

After clicking on the AA symbol, tap “Translate Website” in the drop-down bar.

A series of languages will appear; simply choose your preferred language.

Finally, tap “Enable Translation” to complete the action.

In order to view the original page, tap the icon that replaced the “AA” symbol and select “View Original.”

Enjoy quick, accurate translations in Safari with the help of iOS 14’s upgraded translation capabilities.
