Ever have a family member’s iPhone, iPad or Homepod alarm go off. And no one seems to be around to shut it off?
You don’t want to invade their privacy by going into their room and picking up their device. So what should you do about this annoyance?
Well, now you can shut off a family member’s alarm from your own iPhone. All without even getting out of bed. Here’s how…
1) Simply launch Siri.
2) Then say, “Turn off the Alarm on Pete’s iPhone” (Or whoever the iPhone, iPad, or Homepod belongs to.)
3) Tap or Say “Yes” when Siri asks you to confirm.
4) Roll over and get back to sleep.
Keep in mind for this tip to work, the annoying device needs to belong to someone in your Family Sharing Group. And both devices need to be on the same Wifi network, which is most likely the case if you’re within hearing distance of the pesky alarm.
Sweet Dreams!
