Did you know… You’re not stuck with your iPhone’s default settings when it comes to the way the Music App sounds?
Apple offers different EQ presets built right into your iPhone for you to choose from depending on what you’re listening to.
So whether you want to boost that bass to rumble the windows and wake the neighbors, or you want to increase the midrange to hear the vocals of your favorite song, you can do all this and more.
Here’s how you can adjust the EQ for your iPhone Music App…
1. Open the “Settings” app on your device.

2. Scroll down and select the option labeled “Music.”

3. Select the option labeled “EQ” from the menu.

4. Choose from any of the options on the screen depending on your tastes. There are settings for bass booster, bass reducer, classical music, late-night listening, hip hop music, and much more.

That’s it! Your EQ settings will take effect the next time you play your favorite song and everything will sound exactly the way you like it.

That’s it? Thanks for the tip!
EQ is off and I cannot turn it on?
Very interesting!
I bet 75% of iPhone users don’t know about this music feature.
Thank You!
Hi I P Pete
I love your stuff & read it everyday. Unfortunately I can’t afford a new phone-ever. I am 100% disabled on a limited fixed income and chumpchange social security money.
Anyway I was intrigued by and so excited about having EQ on my phone. But I don’t. Is it limited to 12’s or models newer than my 7? I am so disappointed that I don’t have it.
Keep up the good work
