How to Filter & Sort Your iPhone Photos

Apple’s most recent update, features new-and-improved ways to sort and filter your photos and videos. You can now choose to sort the content of a photo album in order from Oldest to Newest, Newest to Oldest, or opt for a Custom organization based on their preferences.

Plus, now you Can filter through content by labeling images or videos as Favorites, Edited, Videos, and Photos.

In order to take a look at the new sort options and choose how you’d like to navigate through your images, simply take these steps. Launch your Photos app that comes pre-installed on iPhones and iPads.

1) Tap the Albums button and the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and select the album you would like to sort.

2) Next, tap on the three dots that are found at the top right-hand corner of the screen.

3) When the pop-up menu appears, select Sort.

4) Choose your sorting preference from Custom order, Oldest to Newest, or Newest to Oldest.
