How to Enlarge Text on Your iPhone

By iPad Pete 29 Comments

One of the great things about Apple’s iPhone is that you can customize it in a wide range of different ways depending on your needs.

Case in point: text size. Certain iPhone models have screen sizes that can be quite small. Rather than upgrading to a larger device like the iPhone 12 Pro Max (which may be too big for you to comfortably use), you can just enlarge the text size instead.

This will make all of the text on your screen larger, including the text that appears in third party apps that were not published by Apple directly.

Here’s how you can easily enlarge the text on your iPhone screen in just a few basic steps...

1. Open the “Settings” app on your iPhone.

2. Scroll through the options on the screen until you find the one labeled “Display & Brightness.” Tap it to continue.

3. Locate and tap on the option labeled “Text Size.”

4. Drag the slider on the screen to the right if you want to increase it. If you find that you’ve increased it too much, you can always drag it back to the left again.

That’s all there is to it! Now, you’ll be able to see all of the text on your device comfortably and you won’t have to worry about missing anything important ever again!

If you already have text set to show larger than the default size, all you need to do is update Gmail for IOS (IPhone operating system) The text in emails as well as on the labels will look bigger. If you have never tinkered with the text on your IPhone, you need to update the Gmail app and then change the text size.

I’ve lost the mail inbox on my iPad. It is the one that came installed when I bought it. How can I get it back? I still have my yahoo mail and I can get mail in that inbox but I am used to using the Apple mail app. Please advise. Thank you.

I like this tip, and maybe I’m asking for a miracle, but I have big hands and hit many wrong keys; is there a way to make the typing “ pad “ bigger without making allthe letters much larger?

Maybe try using a stylus. It’s like a pen with a rubber tip. Easier to tap small buttons.
