By iPad Pete Leave a Comment

It is now easier to find the articles and website links you receive in your Messages app. It is now automatically filed in your Safari app for easy retrieval.

In Safari, you can also see who sent you the specific link.

Here’s how:

Step 1. First, make sure you have updated to iOS 15.

Step 2. Find your Safari icon and tap on it

Step 3. Once it opens, tap on the address field and start to scroll up

Step 4. You will find the section Shared With You. These are the links shared with you by friends in your Message app. Tap on the link to open the page.

If you cannot find the Shared With You section:

Step 1. Tap on the Tabs icon (double squares) at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2. Tap on the Add Tab (plus sign) icon to open Start Page.

Step 3. Scroll to the bottom of the Start Page and tap on Edit.

Step 4. Find “Shared With You” and turn it on.

Step 5. You can arrange the order of the sections in your Safari by dragging the three horizontal lines icon. If you like, you can keep “Shared With You” at the top of the list.

Note: Open the menu for each link by holding down the link (long press).
You can copy, open the link in a new tab or tab group, reply directly to the sender and remove the link.
