By iPad Pete 11 Comments

Apple added new Text Formatting options to the Mail App.

So, now you can make your emails look great with fonts, font color, bulleted lists, numbered lists, etc…

To get started, just tap the left arrow in an email text field…(Note: You need to have tapped in the text area first to open the bar above the keyboard.)

Next, tap the Aa icon to open your Email Text Formating options…

Tapping the Aa icon opens your Email Text Formating options, including…
Bold
Italic
Underline
Strick through
Font Style
Font Size
Font Color
Numbered List
Bulleted List
Left Justify
Center
Right Justify
Multiple Columns
Indent

Next time you’re writing an email, open up your new Email Text Formating options, and give your email a little style.

Thank you for all of your crazy, wonderful tips. Is this email text formatting available only to the newest Iphone versions? I have an 8S and I can’t seem to find the format options.

How can you make it your default font and color. I don’t want to do this every time I write an email!
