It’s true, shipments for the iPhone 13 Pro Models are running behind schedule. At least for those that did not pre-order their phones.
Shipments not only for the US market but Canada and UK are also impacted by the delivery delays. The wait time varies anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks. Good thing is that the iPhone 13 and even the iPhone 13 Mini seem to be on schedule.
Demand and Supply Chain
The demand for the iPhone 13 Pro models is there due to the exciting upgrades in the units. The faster processor, the high refresh rate, the long battery life, huge capacity, and amazing camera all make you want to buy a new one. And if you are reading this, you probably did!
So what is the problem?
Apple already mentioned some industry shortages during the company’s earnings calls. This is believed to impact not only the delivery of the iPhone13 Pro models but the production itself. The delays in production could be the result of the health crisis where a lot of industries suffered massive setbacks in their own supply chain and even a shortage in manpower.
What to expect
If you pre-ordered the iPhone 13 Pro models, there is a good chance that you either received your unit already or it’s on the way. But if you waited and ordered later than the pre-order dates, then you are in the same boat with a lot of iPhone users waiting for their units.
It will come and will be delivered. It may not come as quickly as you wanted it to be but you will get your hands on your iPhone 13 Pro mode units in the next few weeks. And if you are still undecided, know that there are rumors that delays are expected to continue. This is because Apple is set to launch new products as well like the Apple Watch Series 7 and even new Macbook Pros.
